Do I have to book a call first to book a session?At the moment, if you are a new client, yes. I offer this free of charge and the purpose of the call is to ensure that it is a good fit.

What if I have no phone or an international number?You can provide an email address and we can use an internet based service like Zoom. Just say in the comments box how you would like to be contacted.

What time zone are sessions and calls booked in?I am based in the UK on London time - this will either be GMT or BST depending on the season.

Can I decide at the end of the first session whether or not to work together?Yes! In fact I recommend it if you are new to my work. All first sessions allow space to speak about whether it feels like a good fit.

Can I get my money back if I decide not to come to a session?You will be given a refund according to the cancellation policy. Sessions are refundable or reschedulable with 5 working days notice, 50% refundable within 5 working days, with the option of rescheduling if that is possible, and no refund is offered if you cancel within 48 hours. This is not the case for group sessions where you need to commit to the whole block of sessions and no refunds can be given if you can't make a session.

The client intake document is not downloading or there is a problem with it.If you are having a problem, email me and I can send it. If you need it in a different format because of compatibility, ask for a pdf.

How are sessions held?I work using zoom unless you need an accommodation - if you need to use a different platform, please ask!

What do I need to do to prepare for sessions?You'll get the most of sessions if you arrive: - with an intention about what you would like to focus on, and your goals - well hydrated - with a journal and pen - in a comfortable space - with privacy - with some space after the session to transition

Is groupwork for me?There may be reasons for and against working in a group, and this would be good to discuss in the initial phone consultation. Some reasons group work may suit you are: - You would like to heal wounds that involve group dynamics - You would benefit from witnessing the healing of others with similar wounds - You can both speak in groups and listen while giving space for others to speak - You would like more community and connection Some reasons group work may not be suitable for you are: - You find it hard to give space to others in groups - You can't share and speak openly in a group - You cannot respect group boundaries or the boundaries of the individuals in a group Of course this can be a much more complex question, so book a consultation and talk it through if you are at all unsure.
